Volunteer advocates take after hours calls on our 24 hour crisis hotline, and accompany sexual assault and domestic violence victims to the hospital for FRE exams and to the police departments to report the crimes committed against them. This volunteer experience requires completion of a 40 hour mandatory training, with ten additional annual hours of continuing education.
Other volunteer opportunities include administrative work and odd jobs within our four office locations in Penn Yan, Geneva, Canandaigua, and Seneca Falls, and tabling for Safe Harbors at various community events throughout our three county service area.
